2º Phase of Volunteers Recruitment for the 2025 European Universities Handball Championship

The second phase of recruitment for national volunteers for the 2025 European University Handball Championship began on Friday, March 21. You can do your registration here. The event will take place in Covilhã from July 22 to 28, 2025.

This phase focuses on recruiting volunteers for the Technical Support and Logistical Support areas, which are essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the event.

The first recruitment phase concluded on February 24 and received approximately 80 applications for the areas of Guides, Medical Support, and Communication and Image.

At this stage, the event organization, led by the Academic Association of the University of Beira Interior (AAUBI), in partnership with the University of Beira Interior (UBI), the Municipality of Covilhã (CMC), the Portuguese University Sports Federation (FADU), and the European University Sports Association (EUSA), aims to strengthen the volunteer team to provide effective technical and logistical support during the competition.

Volunteers will play a crucial role in the success of the event, assisting with the setup and management of sports venues, supporting teams, organizing matches, and performing other essential tasks throughout the competition. In addition to contributing to the success of an international event, volunteers will gain a valuable experience, interact with participants from across Europe, and promote university sports.
