GENERAL MEDICAL SERVICES
During EUC Handball, all participants will have continuous access to medical emergency services provided by a dedicated team of trained medical staff. This includes a doctor, a physiotherapist, and support from the Covilhã Volunteer Firefighters. This comprehensive coverage extends throughout all sporting events. Please note that any extra physiotherapy services beyond the standard provision will be available at the athlete's own expense.
MEDICAL ASSISTENCE DURING THE EVENT
Trained medical staff will be available for all participants throughout EUC Handball. Medical care will be provided at all sports facilities, specifically in the immediate vicinity of all zones where players and teams are competing.
First aid and hospitals In case of emergency situations requiring first aid or basic medical assistance, medical rooms will be available at all competition facilities, training venues, and university accommodations. For injuries or emergencies requiring hospitalization, the injured will be transported to the Local Health Unit of Cova da Beira (CHUCB), located in Covilhã. (Alameda Pêro da Covilhã, 6200-251 Covilhã)
