VISUAL IDENTITY
The official identity for the 2025 European University Handball Championship, in Covilhã, is a combination of several elements representing the space where it takes place, and the sport activity in question.
Covilhã’s past is strongly linked to the textile industry, where the main raw material was wool. From the industrial revolution to the present day, wool and the cultural heritage associated with the textile industry has remained one of the most important elements of Covilhã’s identity, reinventing itself today in most diverse forms, the best example being the art that can be experienced in the city’s streets and murals.
